The owner of MVP Consulting Group, Maribel Valdes, was born and raised in Cali, Colombia, South America, where she studied Business Administration and completed a master's degree in Finance. She gained first-hand knowledge of international business through her work in private banking.
Since moving to Miami, Florida, USA, in 2001, she has been working in the fields of real estate and finance with primarily Central and South American immigrants hailing from Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, Peru, Argentina, Ecuador and Mexico. She has worked with Europeans buyers as well; making her a multi-state and multi-cultural real estate broker.
As owner of Flex Mortgage Group, LLC, from 2004-2010, she gained experience as a mortgage broker and learned the importance of putting together real estate and mortgage loans. Maribel understands global economics and the necessity of cultural literacy for international buyers, seller and investors.
Maribel's has eared the following real estate certifications:
- CIPS - Certified International Property Specialist
- TRC - Transactional Referral Certification from the International Consortium of Real Estate Association
- ILHME - International Luxury Home Market Specialist
- E-PRO - Technology Certification by the National Association of Realtors
